Sawubona - crafted with passion, rooted in purpose

Sawubona Panama Coffee Farm is nestled in the Tizingal area of the Chiriqui Highlands, at an elevation of 1,450 meters above sea level. Our coffee grows in rocky soil, a product of the legacy of the Colorado-Tizingal Volcano whose minerals lend our coffees unique flavors.
Sawubona grows varieties in micro lots such as Pacamara, Red Bourbon, Castillo de Naranjal, Catuai. The diversity of flora and fauna adds a touch to every note of aroma and flavor, that set our coffee apart.

The name Sawubona comes from the Zulu culture of South Africa. It means "Hello, I see you", or "I am looking at you". Just like its meaning, we produce and process our coffees with you in mind.
