Our Geisha coffee grows at 1,500 meters above sea level, on the road to the wells of the Colorado River, District of Tierras Altas, Corregimiento de Nueva California, Province of Chiriqui, Republic of Panama.

Our coffee thrives under a canopy of leaves that rises fifteen meters above ground level, in a unique terroir and microclimate that gives Geisha coffee its distinctive flavor and aroma. We draw on our 50 years of experience in the panamanian food industry, along with the advice of long-established producers and technicians with a proven track record in coffee production.  At Panama Woodland’s, we protect 370 acres of forest in our private forest reserve, and all our production processes are powered by solar energy, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and care for the environment.

In 1928, two visionaries, Juventino García and Octavisa Del Cid, gave life to the towns of Paso Ancho and Volcan. Their entrepreneurial spirit led them, in 1931, to establish a coffee farm on the scenic road to Los Pozos del Rio Colorado. However, adversity struck in 1964, when a devastating fire consumed everything they had built with so much effort.

Over the years, their legacy endured, today, three generations of our family, driven by the same passion that guided Juventino and Octavisa, decided to resume the coffee dream. With dedication and love, we began a new chapter in the production of specialty coffee, where each cup reflects our dedication and the art of flavor. The satisfaction of our clients has become our greatest reward, while working in harmony with the environment that surrounds us.

En nuestra finca, hemos optado por el cultivo de café bajo la sombra de estos árboles centenarios para que cada taza de nuestra cosecha esté impregnada del rico ambiente natural que nos rodea. Cada árbol es un guardián de la biodiversidad, un sostén para nuestra tierra. Al mantener estos bosques en pie, no solo preservamos nuestro entorno, sino que también contribuimos a la protección de la vida silvestre y al equilibrio de los organismos vivos que interactúan entre sí y con su entorno físico.
